Yesterday was Thanksgiving. It was lovely. We went on a dinner cruise with family (and 340 other ‘close friends’) down the Willamette River. The food was delicious , company was great and no clean up!
Later in the evening, we were home and enjoying an after dinner whiskey… High West double rye if you’re wondering…and a chat. At some point, I commented on how enthusiastic Roger and his family are. They often comment on experiences, everyday and the out of ordinary with big expletives: beautiful!, gorgeous!, so fun!, the nicest person you’ll ever meet!, delicious!, wonderful!, so amazing! When I say they often comment, I mean often. All seven siblings have a zest for life they express routinely.
Jojo, our host and Roger’s sister said at times she felt she overdid it. I said, “no way. Don’t change.” I find the excitement contagious. I find their enthusiasm inspires me to look at the world more positively.
So today, I’m sharing my picture of a frost flower. It’s gorgeous! and wonderful! and lovely! And amazing!
