OK I’m freaking out a tiny bit… The countdown is on: six days until I run a full marathon and ten until I leave for Spain. I take full responsibility. I love to find the next thing before I’ve completed a project. The marathon definitely became a project. It was a stressful, tiring and frustrating project.
I am determined to finish the race Sunday. Should I fail, which I won’t, I always have the Camino Primitivo. I spent the past four months practicing for the marathon. I’m out of training time. I did a pre-pack… for the Camino, not the marathon.
In reflection, I see I’ve done some avoidance. This is glaringly obvious to me but only now as I write it down. The lesson of the day, write something each day and I may learn something about myself and the world.
I am as ready as I’ll be for Sunday…right after I pack for race day.

I have faith – you’ll do GREAT! Just think of it as training for the Camino 🙂
